Worcester, MA

30.8.08 Worcester, MA

Soolokanavassa mulla on 3 eri saundia. Ensimmäinen on ihan vaan ilman efektejä, toinen maustettuna Dime-säröllä ja kolmas delayllä höystettynä. Näin ollen mulla on siis 5 eri soundia käytössä. Siinä on kaikki mitä tällä rundilla tarvitsen. Aivan mahtavaa...

Tonight we played at a place called The Balladium. Very fine place with balcony and all. Las fall we played here also :-) Back stage was also really nice and we had a shower too. There was a really good feedback from the Nightwish audience I´d think. There were lot of our fans too. After the show we watched The Jack Ass movie at the backstage and chilled out.

To guitar freaks I´ve taken a photo of my pedal board. I purchased a controller pedal called G-Lab. So it doesn´t have any effects, it´s only for controlling. So now I don´t need the amplifier´s own switching pedal and I can also connect 4 different stomp boxes to G-Lab´s effect loops. That´s really cool, so now I can with only 1 press of pedals to make multiple things happen simultaneously. So, what I have is, on my clean channel I have a chorus pedal and Digitech´s new Eric Clapton pedal which simulates the acoustic guitar. In the rhythm channel I don´t have any effects. Then I have 3 different setups for the lead sound. 1 with no effects on, then 1 with Dime distortion pedal and the last one is the one with delay pedal. I also have Morley´s wah and Boss´s Noise suppressor pedal. Noise suppressor affects all the time. So all and all I have 5 different sounds that I use. So now I´m happy ´cause I don´t have to step on my stomp boxes anymore when I´m changing my amp´s channel. Great!

I was there at the Palladium on that day. Not a huge fan of Nightwish, however. I was totally there for you guys only. I was upset that you guys couldn't play longer, yet I LOVED White Pearl, Black Oceans. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you here next year!
