Loud Park, Japan

16.10.-19.10.08 Loud Park Festival, Tokio, Japani

Käytiinpäs tuossa pistokeikalla Japanissa. Kyseessä oli pari-kolmepäiväinen iso sisäfestari, jossa soitti monta eri bändiä. Soitimme lauantaina ja pääesiintyjänä oli Slipknot. Seuraavavana päivänä olisi ollut Mötley Crue. Apocalyptica tuli kanssamme samalla lennolla Loud Parkiin esiintymään.

No minähän sen löysin, joten tulipas halpa ilta…heh.

Seuraavana päivänä oli jo tosi kyseessä. Teimme haastatteluja ja signeeraus-sessioita koko pävän. Aika meni siivillä, ja olikin jo aika kavuta lavalle. Olipas mukava soittaa 15000 ihmiselle. Tony kävi ottamassa esimakua Japanilaiseen yleisöön Apojen kanssa. Tony lauloi heidän kanssaan yhden kappaleen ”I Don´t Care”.

Oikein mukava reissu kaikkineen. Rock Rock!!

10/16/08-10/19/08 Loud Park Festival, Tokyo, Japan

We had a show at Loud Park Festival in Japan. It was a big in-doors festival with lots of bands such as Slipknot and Mötley Crue etc. Apocalyptica was on the same flight with us to Japan, so it was fun for us. We left Finland on Thursday and we in Japan on Friday morning local time. So my bio rhythms went crazy. When we got to the hotel I tried to have my beauty sleep but all the time someone was at my door or tried to call me on the phone..”Let´s go and have a bite to eat” or ”Now, to the bar!”.Well, eventually we decided to g for a walk.

We ended up eating at Hard Rock Cafe, surprise! Henkka had by the way lost his room key in his room. He promised to buy the whole evening to the person who would find his key. I found the key so it was really cheap evening for me…

On the following day it was all business. We did interviews and had signing sessions the whole evening. Time flew and soon it was time to go on stage. We had such fun time playing for 15000 people. Tony by the way sung one hit song with Apocalyptica ”I don´t care”.

After the show I had one more interview for Young Guitar-Magazine. Otehrwise we chilled out at the back stage and hung around with the other bands. It was pretty late when we got back to the hotel. My room was on the 35th floor, pretty high…Next mornig came and we headed for the airport at seven in the morning. All in all we had fun trip to Japan. Rock Rock!!!

It's nce to know that my two favourite bands have fun together and that Tony even sings with Apo :)
It seems like you had a nice time in Japan even though there was a big time difference.

I'm seeing you guys on Friday, I can't wait! =D
