10.2.08 Edmonton
Bussi oli parkissa melko lähellä paikallista Edmonton Centreä, joten köpöteltiin sinne. Käytiin syömässä pika-Kiinalaisessa..ja vessa hyödynnettiin kanssa. Löysin hienon Kiss-hammasharjan. Se soittaa oikein kappaletta harjatessa. ”I wanna rocken roll” resonoi hampaiden kautta pääkoppaan, kun harjaa...Olihan tuo pakko ostos. Löydettiin paikallisesta apoteekista Ameriikan finrexiiniä ja ostettiin paketti-tolkulla sitä ja muita raksuja. Itse asiassa täällä saa maitokaupasta ostaa unilääkkeistä lähtien kaikki pillerit, ilman reseptiä..
Keikka oli loppuunmyyty ja jengi oli haltioissaan. Lavasoundit eivät olleet kovin mairittelevat tällä kertaa. Teknikot olivat tehneet tosissaan hommia, jotta olisivat saaneet soundit siedettäviksi. Mutta keikka oli yksi parhaista tällä kiertueella.
Do you know what is the French shower like? You wash yourself in a sink and then rub your body with a wet towel. That´s what we had yesterday.
I moved to upper bunk. There was still one free. There were some bags on the bunk so I had to move all of them as well..Much warmer now. Marko moved temporarily to the sofa in the back lounge. I was getting better but Marko and Henkka started to feel more sick..And the toilet container of the bus was frozen so our bus driver Ray wasn´t able to empty it. And you know what that means…
Tonight´s Venue was close to this Edmonton Centre so we went there to have something to eat. We had some Chinese. Also the washroom was used.. I found this really nice Kiss tooth brush for me. It´s playing “I wanna rock and roll” while you are brushing your teeth, It´s a must have. We bought bags full of flu drugs…
In the afternoon our tour manager Neubi booked us a shower room from the local Comfort Inn. It was so nice to have a shower again. We had cheese burgers from the hotel´s restaurant. Some fans had a chance to take some pictures with us on the street as well.
The show was sold out..Crowd just went nuts. Stage sound wasn´t so good this time, but decent..The show was just one of the best ones on this tour so far. Thanx for that Edmonton.
Tiedättekö mikä on ranskalainen suihku? Se on sellainen, että lavuaarissa huljutetaan pää ja jalat. Loput osat kehosta, jotka eivät ylety hanan alle, hierotaan kevyesti kostealla pyyhkeellä. Sellainen oli taas tarjolla eilen.
Muutin yläpunkkaan nukkumaan, yksi oli vielä vapaana kolmos-kerroksessa. Siellä oli varmaan kymmenen reppua, jotka jouduin vekslaamaan sieltä pois. Nyt lämpöä riittää. Marko muutti tilapäisesti taka-Loungen sohvalle. Itellä alkoi tauti helpottamaan, mutta nyt Marko ja Henkka alkoi olla tosissaan kipeänä. Toi Amerikan finrexini on kyllä tosi tehokasta. Täällä tuo pakkanen panee..bussin pissi-säiliö alkoi olemaan täynnä, tyhjentämäänkään sitä ei pystynyt koska se oli jäätynyt.

Iltapäivästä managerimme Neubi buukkasi meille suihkuhuoneen paikallisesta Comfort Innistä. Olipa mukava käydä suihkussa. Haettiin vielä cheeseburgerit hotellin raflasta ja sitten pariksi tunniksi levolle ennen keikkaa.

I'm a bit late on this post but here it goes anyway.
It was great to see you for the first time. I haven't been a fan for all that long, less than a year in fact but SA is quickly climbing to occupy a high place on my huge list of favorite bands.
The sound may have been a bit messed up but the crowd sure made up for any deficit in sound.
