Saarbrucken Day Off

22.11.07 Saarbrucken

Vietettiin vapaapäivä Saksassa Saarbruckenissä. Meillä on huomenna täällä keikka.

11/22/07 Saarbrucken

We had a day off in Saarbrucken, Germany. Actually we have a show here tomorrow. It´s almost like being in Tampere. Marko said that this city reminds him of Pori. Well, I slept the whole afternoon away in my hotel room. We had our own rooms. There´s not so much private time when we are on tour, so you have to make the most of it. The flip side of the coin is that you start to feel home sick when you are alone.

We were supposed to have dinner with Marko and Henrik. Tony and Tommy were behind my door in the afternoon shouting: “housekeeping”. I didn´t have the strength to go that early with them. I wasn´t hungry for that matter. After a while Marko called me and said that Henkka already had eaten in Mc Donalds while he was doing his laundry. We decided to have dinner together with Marko at the hotel restraurant. Finally Marko would have some time with me. Something he had missed in Paris. A candle light dinner with me :-) Well, I went to the lobby to meet Marko and there were a whole bunch of Sonata family! They were heading for this steak restaurant. Jörg, Larry Longsleeve (who´s our merch guy), Punky and Masahiro (he lives in Germany and runs this Japanese website for Sonata). We walked to the steak restaurant and had these glow wines on the way. I don´t know, it´s like glögi in Finland. It´s like this Christmas wine which is served warm. Every shop had a full Christmas season already. Tommy called and they showed up with Tapsa and Ahti. We went to this steak restaurant and had these amazing steaks! After that we went to the hotel. We decided with Marko and Masa to call Henkka if he could go and have drinks with us. After a little walk we ended up being In this Irish pub drinking Kilkenny and whiskey and whatever. I went back to the hotel and the guys went to some club to have couple of more drinks.

Day off, hu? Sounds nice! You must get really tired with all this playing, everyday... And not having any private time must get you more tired...
At least is a big 'family', so you don't get sick of seeing the same faces hahahaha

And looks like Marko lost his opportunity to have a romantic time with you again, hu?? Poor guy!! hahahaha Make some time for him in your next day off or something! Just for him not to feel left behind!! ueuehuehuuhehue

hugs for you and all the guys!

hii Elias !

Like Konny and Paula, i'm very happy to read your diary, i wait this moment every day :) it's very fun to know what my favourite band do between every concert :)

I know you're very busy and tired, but i hope you will be able to answer me this time!

When you were at Lyon, I was there and really enjoyed the show. I did about 6 hours of car to see you! That's why I couldn't wait for you after the concert.

So i gave a painting for you all at a watchman, but i don't know if he gave it to you. It represent Unia's cover. Maybe only one of you have it, or nobody...

It make me mad not knowing what happened of my painting ! I would be sooo dissapointed and sad if you haven't it, because I did it with so much love!!!!...

Please answer me I'm desperate =( =( !!
